2022 will be a very special year for the Cotuit Kettleers as we celebrate the 75th year of baseball on Cape
Cod. Many people have contributed over the past 75 years-players, donors, house parents, coaches, volunteers and of course the many fans who have flocked to Lowell Park to watch and cheer for the Kettleers. This is another in the series as we recall the many memories people have of the Cotuit Kettleers!
Kathy and Wally Grove-House Parents to Mike Roberts since 2005
Having been introduced as his house parents by Mike Roberts at one of the opening Kettleers skits and dinner was the ultimate compliment. How lucky can one be to be a house parent to Mike.
Mike has resided in a cottage on our property since 2005. Can I tell you how grateful we are to have Mike and his family in residence. We totally consider him as a member of our family. He even gets to share a lobster dinner once in a while.
