Score/result: Cotuit 8-3 Chatham F/7

Cotuit position player of the game: Brooks Baldwin (UNC Wilmington) had a fantastic all-around day for the Kettleers. Baldwin recorded two hits, including an RBI double. In the field, Baldwin threw a runner out at home from left field to help preserve a Cotuit lead.

Cotuit pitcher of the game: Shawn Rapp (North Carolina) got the start for Cotuit and was fantastic, tossing three scoreless innings and striking out five. Rapp was locating his pitches incredibly well, and had the Chatham lineup guessing for the entirety of his outing. His final line was 3 IP, 5K, 0R.

Cotuit hit of the game: The Kettleers were threatening to extend their 4-3 lead in the bottom of the fifth when Andy Garriola (Old Dominion) stepped up to the plate. Garriola did that and more, smashing a bases clearing three-run double to deep left-center field. The hit blew the game open, giving Cotuit a 7-3 lead.
