Last game result: Cotuit 13-2 Bourne
Coming off a convincing win last night vs. Bourne, the Kettleers are back at home on Wednesday to take on the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. The two teams last played on Monday night, a 15-5 Cotuit loss. The Kettleers currently lead the season series with Hyannis 3-2, and a win tonight would secure the Barnstable Patriot Cup series for Cotuit.
Trey Holland (Denison) is getting the start for Cotuit on Wednesday night. This will be Holland’s third start of the year for the Kettleers. The Denison product is looking to return back to his form in his first start, where he went three scoreless innings against Wareham on July 14th.
The Cotuit offense exploded in last night’s game, banging out 13 runs on 14 hits. Every member of the starting lineup recorded a hit, and four Kettleers had multiple hits. Eric Brown (Coastal Carolina) led Cotuit’s offensive surge, with five RBI’s.
