Game 15: Cotuit Kettleers vs. Brewster Whitecaps

Where: Lowell Park

When: 5:00 PM

How-to-watch: https://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialKettleers

Probable Cotuit starter: Justin Meis (Eastern Michigan)

Last game result: Cotuit 8-3 Chatham

After a tropical storm cancelled yesterday’s game the Kettleers are back in action on Saturday, taking on the Brewster Whitecaps at home. This will be the second matchup of the season between the Kettleers and the Whitecaps. The first game was one to forget for Cotuit, as they fell to Brewster 2-0 on the road. Both teams are currently tied for second in their respective divisions, and a win tonight would be a big boost as the playoff race heats up.

Justin Meis (Eastern Michigan) will get the start for the Kettleers. Meis last pitched on the fourth of July against Falmouth, throwing five shutout innings. The EMU product will look to be efficient again tonight, setting up the bullpen to shut the door in the final innings.

Andy Garriola (Old Dominion) was the Catalyst of the Kettleers offense last week, going 5-12 with five RBI’s. His biggest moment was the game-winning two run blast that knocked off Bourne and ended their unbeaten streak.

Garriola’s bases clearing double helped seal the win vs. Chatham
