Where: Guv Fuller Field

When: 6:00 PM

Probable Cotuit starter: Quinn Mathews (Stanford)

Last game result: Cotuit 3-5 Brewster

The Cotuit Kettleers will travel to Falmouth tonight to face the Commodores for the second time this season. After a loss last night, the Kettleers are in third place in the West Division, two points behind second place Wareham. Falmouth is two points behind the Kettleers in fourth place. Cotuit won the first matchup of the season 4-3.

Quinn Mathews (Stanford) is the Kettleers’ probable starter. Mathews will be making his debut after being activated within the last 24 hours. Mathews is a left-handed pitcher and coming off his redshirt freshman season at Stanford. Through two seasons as a Cardinal, he has a 5.75 ERA in 87.2 innings pitches.

The Cotuit bats will look to get back on track tonight after producing just three hits on Saturday. Andy Garriola (Old Dominion) stayed hot with his third home run of the season on Saturday. Garriola is now tied for the team-lead in homers with Luke Gold (Boston College).
