The Cotuit Kettleers will cross the bridge tonight to head to Wareham for a crucial divisional matchup with the Gatemen. After a loss to Falmouth last night, the Kettleers are in a three-way tie for second place in the Western Division with the Commodores and Gatemen. The top two teams in each division make the playoffs. Cotuit is 3-1 vs. the Gatemen so far this season.

Dalton Rogers (Southern Miss) will be on the mound tonight for the Kettleers. Rogers has made three appearances and two starts as a Kettleer. Through seven innings on the bump, he’s compiled a 2.57 ERA. The southpaw has struck out ten and allowed just five hits.

Carter Trice (Old Dominion) had his best night as a Kettleer yesterday. The right-handed hitter had a perfect night at the plate, not making an out in four plate appearances. He finished the night with a two-run home run, his first homer as a Kettleer.
