The Kettleers are back in action tonight at Lowell Park. Cotuit will look to bounce back after a loss last night. The Chatham Anglers will roll into town for their first matchup of the season against the Kettleers. The Anglers are fourth in the East division while Cotuit is in a three-way tie for second in the West.
Shawn Rapp (North Carolina) will make his first start of the summer tonight. Rapp has made two appearances so far. The southpaw has a 7.20 ERA in five innings pitched. In his last appearance, he allowed just one run and struck out six in 3.1 IP.
The Kettleers didn’t get much offense in last night’s 5-2 loss to Wareham, but were given a spark by Eric Brown Jr. (Coastal Carolina). Brown was 2-2 with a homer.
