Probable Chatham starter: Adam Tulloch (3.00 ERA, 18.0 IP)

Last game result: Cotuit 1-5 Orleans

The Cotuit Kettleers will travel to Chatham tonight for their first and only game at Veterans Field this season. The Kettleers will be looking to break a four-game skid. Despite the losing streak, Cotuit is still tied for second place in the West Division with Wareham. Cotuit is 2-0 against the Anglers this season, winning the last matchup by a score of 7-6.

Will Jacobsen (Harvard) will make his third start of the season tonight. His last start came against the Anglers this past Friday. Jacobsen allowed three earned runs over 4.2 innings. The right-handed pitcher didn’t walk anyone and struck out three. For the season, he’s compiled a 10.00 ERA over 9.0 innings pitched.

Since posting seven runs in the win over Chatham five days ago, the Cotuit offense has struggled. The Kettleers have scored one run in each of their last three games. They’ll look for a kick start from Carter Trice (Old Dominion), who was activated two days ago after playing for the US Collegiate National team. In their last game against Chatham, Drew Compton (Georgia Tech) was 3-3 with 2 RBI.
