The Cotuit Kettleers will be back in action on Friday night, going on the road to play the Y-D Red Sox. The Ketts are coming off of a loss at Orleans and will be looking to get back in the win column for the first time since opening day.

Ryan Long (Pomona Pitzer) will get the start for the Ketts for the first time this year. Long’s 2021 season was cancelled this year due to COVID-19, but the righty has 92.1 career innings pitched with a 3.61 ERA.

Brett Roberts (Florida State) had a productive first start last night for Cotuit, going 2-3 with a double. Roberts set the tone for the Kettleers offense on Thursday night, and will look to do the same tonight.
