Probable Cotuit starter: Harrison Cohen (George Washington)


The Kettleers will get back on schedule tonight as they travel to Orleans to face the Firebirds. Cotuit’s home game on Tuesday against Bourne was rained out before their off day on Wednesday. The Kettleers’ game at Orleans will be their first against an Eastern Division opponent.

Harrison Cohen (George Washington) will get the start on the mound against the Firebirds. It will be Cohen’s first appearance of the summer. The right-handed pitcher posted a 4.53 ERA over 59.2 IP at GW this spring. He struck out 68 batters and threw two complete games over 10 starts. In the shortened 2020 season, he compiled a 2.10 ERA over four starts. Here is tonight’s full starting lineup:

The Kettleers’ bats have had a strong start to the summer. Despite playing just three innings on Tuesday, Cotuit had already posted five runs. In two games, the Kettleers’ are hitting .304 with nine extra base hits.
