The Cotuit Kettleers and Hyannis Harbor Hawks have become familiar foes early this summer. The Kettleers will travel to Hyannis tonight to face the Harbor Hawks for the second straight night and the third time this season. Both teams have won their home game in the matchup after the Kettleers bats came to life in a 13-5 win last night. A win tonight would put the Kettleers back to .500 on the season.

Jake Brooks (UCLA) will make his first start of the season tonight. Brooks picked up the win at Yarmouth-Dennis last Friday with 3.2 scoreless innings out of the pen. He’s compiled 5.1 scoreless innings in two appearances so far. The right-handed pitcher has allowed just two hits and is yet to walk a hitter.

The Kettleers offense got back on track last night with a 16-hit performance. Brett Roberts (Florida State) had three hits and two RBI. RJ Schreck (Duke) smashed his first home run of the summer. Cole Cummings (UC Santa Barbara) and Brooks Baldwin (UNC Wilmington) both had two hits and three stolen bases.
