Heroes in the Park – July 12, 2019

“Honoring America’s Military at Lowell Park”

COTUIT, MA (July 11, 2019) – The Cotuit Kettleers in partnership with the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod and Heroes in Transition Inc. will hold their third annual Heroes in the Park event on Friday, July 12 at Lowell Park, 10 Lowell Avenue, Cotuit, MA prior to their baseball game.

All military personnel, both active and retired, and their families are invited to attend and will be given gifts honoring their service. A special pre-game ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm, followed by a ceremonial first pitch featuring Colonel Sean Riley. The color guard will be provided by Otis Air National Guard with the National Anthem sung by Kirsten Atteberry.

The general public is requested to wear red shirts in recognition of Red Shirt Friday.

The Kettleers will then face off against the Harwich Mariners at 5:00 pm.
