McKeon Park…a Home Away from Home?

Coach Mike Roberts gives Joey Loperfido a smile as he rounds third base following a home vs. Hyannis on Friday

3-0, the record for the Cotuit Kettleers at McKeon Park this season.

42-9, Cotuit’s combined scores of the three games at Hyannis this season. That is 14 runs per game at McKeon Park, and all three games resulted in the Kettleers reaching double-digit runs.

2 combined walks for Kettleer pitching in the July 19th and June 12th games at McKeon park. Cotuit has been snake-bitten by the walk all season long, so it is no surprise that in those two games at Hyannis, the Kettleers allowed just 2.5 runs per contest.

5 for 8 (.625) batting average for Mervis in Cotuit’s three games at McKeon Park.

2.3 home runs per contest for Cotuit at McKeon Park this year. Nick Gonzales (New Mexico State) has one, Joey Loperfido (Duke) has one, Oraj Anu (Kentucky) has one, Matthew Mervis has one, now departed Mason Dodd (Brewster) had one, and Parker Chavers (Coastal Carolina) has two.

The 7 home runs that the Kettleers have at McKeon Park is half the amount of home runs that the Bourne Braves (14) have total on the season.

15 different Kettleers registered a hit at McKeon Park this season.

11 different Kettleers pitchers registered a strikeout at McKeon Park this season.
