Cotuit- It was a special kind of reunion for Charlestown’s Dan Henry. The home plate umpire who suffered a severe concussion while umpiring behind the plate earlier in July just wanted to come back and thank the Lowell Park fans for their thoughts and concerns. Henry has been sidelined ever since the July 6th incident and will not be umpiring any Cape Cod Baseball League games this year. “Everyone’s reaction really touched me” said Henry “and I just wanted to personally thank the Lowell Park crowd.” Henry hopes to return to umpiring next season.
