Report: Giants call up Yastrzemski’s grandson

The Giants are calling up Mike Yastrzemski, the grandson of Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski, according to a report from MLB Network insider Jon Heyman.
The 28-year-old outfielder was drafted three times: by the Red Sox out of high school in 2009 (36th round), by the Mariners out of Vanderbilt University in ’12 (30th round), and then by the Orioles in ’13 (14th round). The Orioles traded him to the Giants for pitcher Tyler Herb on March 23 of this year.
