- For the second time in three games, Cotuit had more errors than runs (13-2 loss to Orleans).
- Cotuit is 4-4 at home and 4-4 on the road.
- Entering Friday’s action, Wareham starter Miller Hogan (Saint Louis) had yet to record a strikeout in two appearances this season. In five innings against Cotuit he struck out six batters.
- After having three players in the top five in the Cape League batting title race last week, Cotuit now has no one in the top five. Griffin Conine ranks first for the Kettleers in eighth place with a .356 average.
- Despite hitting .333, John Cresto (Santa Clara) leads the Cape League with 23 strikeouts in 54 at-bats.
- The Kettleers have fallen to 4th in the league in runs scored and 5th in hits after leading the league in both last week.
- For the first time all season, Cotuit has a negative run differential, -2. They’ve scored 77 runs and yielded 79.
