Kettleers alumnus of 2014 and Southeastern Louisiana University first-baseman, Jameson Fisher’s year for the ages is being recognized with some very impressive happenings.
He was named the Southland Conference Player of the Year 10 days ago. He hit a Grand Slam in the conference championship game. Two days ago, his name appeared on a list for the Hero Sports D1 Baseball Fans Choice Award for Player of the Year, and yesterday, his name appeared on the 25 player list of semifinalists for the GOLDEN SPIKES AWARD!!!!
Jameson has lead the nation in batting average, and OBP, virtually all year, finishing with a .437 batting average and .564 OBP. In addition, he blasted 12 home runs, including the Grand Slam in the conference championship.

Jameson batted .300 for the Kettleers in 2014 and was named to the All Cape League Team as a catcher. In addition, Jameson Fisher represented the Cotuit Kettleers with class and dignity throughout the summer of 2014.
