The Cotuit players and coaching staff traveled to the Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame and the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum in Hyannis prior to Wednesday’s matchup with the Harbor Hawks.

The players looked through the galleries and artifacts with the most popular exhibit being a video playing in the CCBL Hall of Fame, commemorating one of the CCBL seasons. A teammate even pointed out a picture of Brody Weiss’ (Riverside Community College) father, Walt Weiss, hanging on the hall of fame.

“I think the players overall enjoyed it and were able to learn about the history of the Cape League,” Roberts said.

“I thought it was pretty cool just to be apart of history, Cape Cod, seeing all the former Kettleers players … (My favorite part was) the video that they showed about the history of the Cape, all the different teams and different aspects.” — Michael Cantu (Texas)

“Seeing the Kettleers we had in the case and hanging on the walls, that was pretty cool to see. It was an awesome experience. It was a lot of fun.” — Justin Dunn (Boston College)

“It was awesome, man, it was really cool. It’s been around for a long time. We were looking at a lot of different rooms. The Cotuit room was sick. It was a lot of fun. We were all in there watching the video and seeing guys from Stanford from like 20 years ago.” — Jack Klein (Stanford)
