- Cotuit 8 Brewster 2
- Brewster is now on a five game losing streak
- Kevin Bradley (Clemson) made his first start at catcher. Bradley has played third, short and first for Cotuit on the season. He threw out a runner in the fifth to end the inning. He then moved to third in the sixth inning, with Nolan Clark (Concordia) assuming duties behind the plate
- Brewster right fielder Nick Lynch (UC Davis) robbed Bradley of a wall ball hit, running full speed into the fence. He left the game following the play
- Jake Fincher (NC State) made a leaping catch on a line drive to straightaway center field in the second inning
- Gali Cribbs Jr (Clarendon) snapped a two-game hitless streak with an RBI single in the first inning
- Fincher swiped three bags on the day, taking second twice, and third once
- Logan Ratledge (NC State) had his second homerun in as many games for the Kettleers. He launched a shot to left field in the eighth inning. Both homeruns were hit to left field and both were hit to lead off an inning. The most a player has in the league is three, which is held by Rhys Hoskins (Falmouth, Sacramento State) and Chris Marconcini (Orleans, Duke)
- Cotuit made zero errors for the first time this season
- The Kettleers have won 3 out of 4 starts made by Ben Smith (Coastal Carolina)
- Hunter Cole (Georgia) was not in the lineup again for Cotuit. Cole has not played the last two games, nor did he participate in the workouts at Fenway Park
- Brian Miller (Vanderbilt) allowed no runs in an outing for the first time this season. Miller pitched two innings, striking out one and no walks
- Brian Roberts (son of Manager Mike Roberts) hit his first homerun since returning from injury for the Baltimore Orioles. He hit it in the third inning against the Chicago White Sox
